After losing her grandmother—the person who raised her, made her feel safe, and was her best friend—Brie entered the foster care system, feeling lost and alone. Despite the challenges, she has grown into a resilient and compassionate individual who finds strength through her faith and her love of the arts. Now that she has aged out of foster care, Brie is excited to pursue her college degree and share her passion for the performing arts, particularly opera and musical theatre. Music has always been a source of healing and expression for her, and while she loves performing, her ultimate dream is to become a therapist for young children. Brie hopes to create a safe, nurturing environment where children who have experienced trauma can feel seen, heard, and supported—just as she once needed.
