Jennifer has such a beautiful and kind soul. Through all of her trials in foster care, Jennifer has come out the other side a champion for young people. She is most proud of getting her bachelor's and master's and being able to now serve as a mental health therapist for a college program supporting foster youth.

Foster care has shaped Jennifer into a compassionate person who invests in others because she understands the feeling of being alone. After earning her master’s degree, Jennifer returned to a college campus to provide mental health services to former foster youth. Earlier this year, she was involved in a car accident that resulted in a crushed nerve and damaged tissues. As a consequence, she now suffers from complex regional pain syndrome, which makes every day more challenging. To help manage her pain, she would like a foot massager.
