Jaerik is a kind-hearted young man who has faced many challenges in his life. He lost his father when he was young and is unsure of his mother's whereabouts. He has moved between family members and residential care, but he has finally found a stable home, which has allowed him to grow. Jaerik is very personable and possesses strong social skills. He loves basketball and other sports. Although he always has good intentions, he sometimes finds himself caught in negative cycles. Academically, Jaerik excels in math and often helps his classmates with their math homework, which he genuinely enjoys.

Jaerik loves to build with Legos. As a teenager in foster care, Jaerik doesn’t always get to keep many things that feel personal to him, and having a Lego set would be something special that he can build, rebuild, and take pride in. It would give him a creative escape and a comforting activity when life feels hard. Jaerik would love the autonomy to pick out his own Lego set.
