CA DCFS - Los Angeles CountyIsaac made the difficult decision to leave his siblings in Los Angeles to get away from gang influences in his environment. He moved to a safe neighborhood to live with his aunt, where he had to adjust to a new life away from those negative pressures. Since the move, he has been able to re-enroll in high school, get a job, and obtain his driver’s license. Isaac now has strong support in place and is back on track with developing his independent living skills.
Issac has never had an iPad and hopes he can receive one for Christmas. He will be able to use his iPad for school assignments, gaming, and other tasks that his low-budget phone cannot perform. This gift would really bring Issac a lot of joy, especially since his move to Iowa has been challenging yet productive thus far. He wants to continue on a path of success.
