Foster care revealed the harsh realities of people to Ahlivia. Throughout her experiences, she felt as though no one truly took the time to get to know her. It seemed as if she was always just a temporary presence in their lives. Ahlivia wishes people would make more of an effort to understand her and her passions. She longs to share her kind heart and compassion with the world. She loves making people laugh and enjoys baking and trying out new recipes. Above all, she simply loves people.

One of the best ways for Ahlivia to cope after foster care has been going to the gym. It helps her regulate her nervous system and stay grounded in the present. She has always dreamed of having a durable pair of headphones to use while working out. This Christmas, she hopes to unwrap a cute pair of pink Beats headphones that she can wear all year long at the gym.
