Max recently reunified with his mother after being in a foster home for a year. Although he was in foster care, Max remained positive throughout his experience with DCFS and has recently begun attending church and weekly Bible study. Max states that he attends church to learn about forgiveness and to forgive those in his life. Max is involved in ROTC and when he grows up, he wants to be in the Marines. In his free time, Max likes to play soccer and baseball and is interested in starting to box and take self-defense classes.

Max recently reunified with his mother and moved into a brand-new apartment with her. Due to financial hardship, his mother has been unable to buy decorations for his room to make him feel at home. One thing Max says he enjoyed doing after reunification was watch the World Series with his mom. Max says that him and his mom used to always watch baseball together before being separated and Max is happy he is able to do it again. For Christmas, Max would like the new Dodgers World Series Pennet to hang in his room to make his new home feel like home, and to remind him of the new memories he is making with his mom.
