Now, despite having only a third-grade education and never finishing high school, Mila is determined to earn her GED and pursue a nursing career for stability. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking in parks, making jewelry, writing songs, photography, and singing. With support, she dreams of becoming an actress or model.

It hasn’t been easy for her to be the big sister, especially without knowing her dad and having a mom who has struggled with addiction. Life has often felt lonely for both Mila and her brother. Right now, she works as a per diem employee, which means her income isn’t always steady. But Mila is determined to make a better future for herself by earning her GED so she can find a stable job. Recently, she found a pair of unique shoes that she really loves. They match her style perfectly and make her feel good. Being able to open this gift on Christmas day would definitely brighten her smile. Mila hopes these shoes will boost her confidence and last her a long time.
