Stephanie is a bright young lady with an even brighter smile! She came into care as an infant and was adopted by an aunt shortly after. Her aunt passed away unexpectedly, and Stephanie came back into the foster care system. She has had a tough time grieving her loss and getting used to her new environment. She is incredibly talented and often works through her feelings by creating beautiful works of art. She is shy, so meeting new people can be hard for her. When she feels safe and comfortable, she is incredibly loyal and a wonderful friend. She loves to go to the movies, go bowling, and hang out at the mall so she can be around people and feel less lonely. Even though she has gone through so much in her young life, she has so much love to give and still feels the world is a beautiful place.

After five long years in foster care, Stephanie is about to receive the most wonderful Christmas gift imaginable—the gift of family! Not only is she gaining a loving mom, but she will also be welcomed by three brothers and two sisters. The excitement she feels about joining her big, beautiful family is overwhelming. To celebrate their love and commitment to one another, Stephanie dreams of hosting a special dinner at Applebee's, where they can come together and create unforgettable memories.
