Her curiosity about how things work, from the human body to ecosystems, drives her passion for science. Growing up in foster care, she found solace in books and school, which helped her feel in control of her life.
Clarissa is asking for a Dillon’s gift card to help purchase groceries and items she needs to prepare for Thanksgiving. This support would help her cover basics like ingredients for meals, snacks, and other essentials that can be hard to afford on a tight budget. A gift card would not only ease some financial stress, but also allow her to fully participate in the holiday, cook food she enjoys, and share in the sense of warmth and celebration that Thanksgiving can bring.
