Everett lives with his aunt, her husband, and their child in a kinship foster placement. When he entered care, he had to start at a new high school and was upset about being separated from his twin brother, but he made friends quickly. He loves to play games and fix things. He got a job and is excited to make his own money! Everett has struggled academically, but after coming into foster care, he was diagnosed with dyslexia, and he has made great progress in his reading by working with a dyslexia specialist! He has a great sense of humor and adds energy and playfulness to any situation. He is enrolled in a program preparing him for trade school. He hopes to be a mechanic, a welder, or a plumber.

Everett would really like these Uggs for Christmas. He knows they’re expensive and his aunt says they aren’t practical, but he says many of the boys at school have them and he would like to have them, too. Everett doesn't ask for much, but when he was asked what he would like for Christmas, this was the one thing he said he wanted!
