AJ is a kind boy who was living in kinship foster care with his grandmother until her health began to decline. He has since been placed in a traditional foster family along with his little brother and is adjusting well to this new situation. AJ performs well in school and has recently discovered a passion for music. He takes guitar lessons weekly, which is helping him tremendously with his overall transition.

AJ cherished his old cup, which he had to leave behind when he moved between foster homes. Since then, he has been searching for a new cup that resembles his favorite one. He particularly loves that this new cup can be used for both hot and cold drinks, and its color is perfect for winter!
