Though they suffered minor burns, Crystal faced sleepless nights and PTSD, having lost many personal belongings and spent weeks without a stable home. She later reunited with her mom, who has had her own medical issues, including brain surgery, and has limited income. Together, they care for Crystal’s younger half-sibling and their cherished dog. Despite the challenges, Crystal finds joy in playing with her dog, going to the movies, and making jewelry. Her favorite color is blue, and she has a special fondness for Hello Kitty. Through it all, Crystal’s resilience and spirit shine brightly, reflecting her strength and compassion.

As Christmas gets closer, Crystal is looking forward to spending time with her loved ones. This year has been tough for her, but she’s working hard to build her confidence and appreciate her self-worth.
