Despite facing numerous placement changes in foster homes, group homes, and residential facilities, she remains determined to improve her life. Recently, she has done an excellent job advocating for the services she needsTamika loves being creative and enjoys making artwork. She also cherishes spending time with her friends, whether it’s hanging out at a coffee shop, playing board games, or listening to music.
Tamika really wants an MP3 player for Christmas. She loves listening to music; it helps her relax when she's bored or stressed. Music also lets her express herself when she feels misunderstood. It’s especially helpful when she’s trying to focus on her schoolwork. An MP3 player would allow her to connect with friends and make new ones. Since she just got back to her group home after being in the hospital, she has to take time to recover. Having this MP3 player would keep her entertained and comfortable while she can’t do as much as she used to.
