Willow has experienced a great deal of trauma in her life. Willow and her siblings have been under DCFS custody since 2020. Willow has made significant progress with stabilizing her mental health, she has graduated high school, participates in the Extended Foster Care Program, and has interests in working with animals, creating digital graphics, and wanting to help children who have gone through similar experiences as she has. Willow enjoys creating digital graphics, playing video games, listening to music, and trying different foods. She has expressed that these are also the things she does to help her cope when needed.

Aside from the trauma's that Willow has experienced, she also struggles with her interpersonal skills due to being on the Autism spectrum. She shared that she enjoys creating digital graphics and playing video games as a way to escape even for just a short while. Willow shared that she enjoys talking to her friends and meeting new friends while playing video games.
