After growing up in foster care, she moved into her own apartment last year and is determined to give her son the stable, loving home she never had. Having recently earned her CNA, she’s working toward financial independence. With continued support, she will create the bright, stable future she’s always envisioned for her and her son.
Aliza has been saving to make sure her son has presents for Christmas, but a temporary loss of food assistance last month has made things financially difficult. She’s used her savings on food, other bills and a few presents for her son. Aliza was saving to buy a new TV as a gift to herself but can no longer can afford to. Granting this wish would let both Aliza and her son wake up to something special on Christmas morning.
