CA DCFS - Los Angeles CountyAndrew likes scary movies, comic book characters, and singing T-Pain songs! He loves his grandmother, he is bilingual, and hopes to live in a group home setting next year. Andrew has been struggling with mental illness and autism since he entered out of home care. With intensive services and a strong circle of support, Andrew is now in a residential facility and has been thriving. Andrew can now attend to his activities of daily living and can now engage in social interactions.
Andrew would like to experience shopping for himself, as in the past living in facilities all the shopping was done for him. This would further provide Andrew the needed independent living skills that would make living in a group home possible. Andrew would learn how to budget to buy needed and wanted items.
