Kendra is a wonderful young lady who loves to cheer, sing, and express her creativity. She enjoys playing games on her iPad, especially Minecraft and Roblox, and has a special love for animals. Kendra is interested in trying horseback riding and has recently begun exploring the idea of joining Girl Scouts, where she hopes to learn new skills like archery. Kendra has faced significant challenges, including periods of homelessness and living in shelters. Despite these hardships, she has remained resilient and continues to look forward to new opportunities and experiences. She is currently living in transitional housing with on-site staff who help provide a safe and supportive environment as she continues working toward a stable future.

Maine winters can be long and extremely cold. Kendra is currently living in transitional housing, which has staff on-site for safety. However, getting to and from school is her responsibility. If she misses the bus, she has to walk or ride her bike, so having boots, hats, and mittens is essential. She would really appreciate a gift card to TJ Maxx so she can buy everything she needs to stay warm and dry this winter!
