Alan is really into movies and enjoys playing video games. He likes going to the activity center to spend time with his friends and participate in the various games and activities available there. Although Alan is very quiet, he enjoys putting up posters in his room and listening to different types of music. Alan wants to obtain a job in the future where he wants to work with his hands and use his sense of design.

Alan is eagerly anticipating the chance to watch the many DVDs he just received. What he really needs is his own personal DVD player—something he can call his own and not have to compete with the other boys in the foster home to use. Having that would bring him a deep sense of relief and allow him to enjoy his movies in peace.
