Jordyn is funny, articulate, bright, and intelligent. She has interest in birds, plays instruments, and even has two birds of her own. Jordyn is resilient, fun loving, compassionate and willing to help others. What makes Jordyn special is that she has managed to hold it together despite challenges, struggles, and separations. Jordyn has been tasked with a lot at such a young age but still manages to care as much about others as she does herself. Jordyn presence and humor lights up the room and she make others feel better about themselves, just by her being herself. Jordyn and her brother have been and out of the foster care for the last six years. Her and her brother are separated, aside from them both being separated from their family. Jordyn has always wanted a PS5, it's more than just a console, it's about having something stable, something normal, and something that belongs to her in a world where very little has felt consistent. Gamming is one of the only way's she been able to regulate her emotions, self soothe and redirect her anxiety.

A console like this would support Jordyn in her social-emotional development. It creates opportunities for supervised age-appropriate online interactions, cooperative play, problem solving, and skill -building. These activities reinforce confidence, autonomy, and mastery. Areas where she has struggled. A PS5 would promote consistency, emotional regulation, and normalcy allowing for bonding opportunities with others, such as her brother. It would serve a space where she could rest her mind, and her emotions can settle so she can feel normal again.
