Alondra has spent most of her life in the foster care system and has often struggled to feel a true sense of belonging. Since beginning her college journey as a Biology major, she has finally discovered what “home” feels like college has provided the most stability she has ever known. Alondra enjoys using social media to share light and positivity, particularly with current and former foster youth in high school and college. She is also an active runner who runs simply “for fun.” Additionally, she volunteers at a local hospital, an experience she feels gives her purpose and allows her to give back to her community.

Alondra is seeking assistance with a grocery gift card so that she may be able to shop for groceries over the holiday break when on-campus eateries are shut down for the winter break and campus closure.
