While the transition has not been without difficulties, Kayden continues to show a strong spirit, a warm heart, and strong determination to keep moving forward. Kayden has gone through major disruptions in a very short period of time. After the family was displaced from their home, the mother had a loss of wages and had to adjust to living with his mother, brothers, maternal grandmother, and maternal great-grandmother. These sudden changes have been difficult for him emotionally and have placed significant strain on the family.
