Ja'Quan enjoys sports, particularly football and basketball. When he’s not playing a sport, he likes to hang out with friends and play video games. Although he is uncertain about what he wants to pursue after high school, he has expressed interest in exploring a trade or vocational path after graduation. He's being supported by NJ DCFS.

Ja'Quan wishes for some new clothes for Christmas. He would like to choose some graphic t-shirts and cargo pants, but his mother cannot afford anything extra right now. She recently lost her job and fell behind on bills. Although she has since found another job, she is still catching up on her finances. A gift card to Amazon would allow Ja'Quan to select an outfit or two of his choice.
