Sofia is a smart, enthusiastic, and energetic young girl who is living in a new foster home after being separated from her sister. Although Sofia has a limited vocabulary and is primarily non-verbal, she has made significant progress in her ability to communicate over the past few months. She enjoys using her photo ring, which displays images of her family and important people in her life, to tell stories. Sofia shows a strong eagerness and drive to learn and succeed at such a young age. She is always excited to meet new people, loves going to school, and has a passion for animals and the outdoors!

Sofia can get easily overwhelmed, and if she does, she tends to get into a little bit of mischief. She loves to have weighted blankets and fidgets to help keep her regulated, and she is always looking for new things to try. She would love to find this weighted butterfly shaped cape under the tree this year!
