Harlie has been in foster care since 2013. She has jumped around from multiple placements and has had more than 50 placement changes. For the last couple years she has really stabilized and started really thinking about her future. She know wants to remain in extended care and would like to go to cosmetology school. She is currently working on completing her certification to be a lash technician. She is also interested in all things beauty specifically makeup and hair. Harlie is very social and interacts well with peers. She has become very positive and is not one to let her past dictate her future. At this time she is hoping to get her GED so she can go to cosmetology school. Since she has moved around so much she has fallen behind in school.

At this time Harlie does not have access to any computer and needs it to complete her GED and start college. She is interested in going to beauty school and a laptop will help her accomplish this goal. A laptop will also help her expand her social circle since she has struggled to maintain friendships due to constantly being moved from placement to placement. She will also have an easier time staying in contact with past connections.
