Athena is a sweet, fun-loving child who enjoys dancing, playing with dolls, and creating DIY projects. She spent time in foster care after her mother struggled with addiction, and although her father later gained custody, he tragically died by suicide soon after. Athena is now being lovingly cared for by her elderly grandmother, who is doing her best to provide stability and support. Despite the challenges she has faced, Athena continues to show resilience and joy through her creativity and play.

Athena is requesting a Target gift card this holiday season so she can choose her own clothes and possibly buy shoes. Being able to try items on and select what she likes will provide her with comfort and a chance for self-expression. New clothes will help boost her self-confidence, support her mental health, and allow her to enjoy the experience of shopping for herself. This gift would bring Athena joy while fulfilling an important need.
