CA DCFS - Los Angeles CountyLuke is a young adult in foster care. Despite being an adult, Luke is constantly needing support from his caregiver due to his specific needs, including being nonverbal. Despite the challenges he has faced, Luke continues to develop more skills with his caregiver and learn about his environment every day.
Luke is currently working on being able to communicate, as he is nonverbal and autistic. In ABA, he is learning how to navigate applications to communicate his basic wants and needs. A tablet would help Luke improve his communication and practice at home more often
