Mackenzie attends a school that requires her to wear uniforms. Since she has been moved in and out of foster care so many times, she does not have the appropriate clothes for school. Her uniforms can be purchased at Kohls.

Mackenzie has been in and out of foster care for most of her life. She has struggled with adjusting to her ever-changing environment, and often feels caught between what is best for her and her siblings and what her parents want her to do. She is always looking out for her brother and sister, and feels protective over them. She has had her fair share of troubles, but is a true survivor.
