Amie is a witty and vibrant young woman who's just taken up the trombone in her school band. She loves pulling practical jokes and shares a special bond with her little brother. While her family navigates some tough losses and separations, Amie is finding her own ways to deal with her feelings. She’s started going to counseling and has joined the band, a theater group, and an art class. Amie's creativity shines through in her imaginative ideas for making the world a brighter place, despite her struggles in care.

Amie can never have enough yarn, paint, coloring pencils, and sketchpads- you name it, Amie will use it -and well. She never ceases to impress with the resulting masterpieces she creates and shares with others. This year, Amie is celebrating Christmas in a kinship placement, apart from her young brother. Amie recently expressed the desire to make Christmas presents this year- sharing all of the ideas she has in mind. However, she lacks supplies to get started. Amie would be grateful for support in obtaining art supplies so she can bring joy to her siblings and relatives she lives with through thoughtfully handmade gifts!
