Josie is a bright and caring girl who always looks out for her little brother. She has a sharp mind and enjoys solving math problems, while her creativity shines through every time she picks up a paintbrush. Although life has been challenging and she has had to mature quickly, especially after entering foster care and moving in with her grandmother, Josie still finds joy in the small, beautiful things. She is the kind of child who gives more than she receives and brings light into the room with her quiet strength.

Josie wishes for a bike of her very own. She dreams of riding alongside her brother through the neighborhood, feeling the wind in her hair and the freedom that only a bike ride can bring. With so much responsibility resting on her young shoulders, this bike would be a way for Josie to simply be a kid again—to explore, to laugh, and to feel just a little bit lighter. It would be her way of finding independence, joy, and moments of calm outside the challenges she’s faced.
