Mel is placed in a foster home in Rhode Island and is working on building skills. She enjoys fashion, cosmetology, and anything beauty! She is in the 12th grade and has a supportive IEP to help her graduate high school! Mel is interested in pursuing a career in nursing or cosmetology. Mel enjoys spending time with her foster sister and taking car rides.

The Driver education voucher is to support Mel with meeting goals towards independent living and will also help Mel learn a valuable skill. She has been wanting to learn how to drive and feels that now is the time!
