Nelle is one of the hardest-working kids you will meet. She has been thriving since entering foster care, especially in school, where she continues to excel. Despite the trauma she has endured, Nelle remains optimistic and refuses to let anything bring her down. She is highly motivated and hopes to attend a college preparatory or private high school to work toward her goals. Outside of school, Nelle is eager to try new activities, especially when the weather warms up so she can join a flag football team. She is branching out and growing into a fantastic young lady.

After school, Nelle enjoys relaxing with her sister by watching her favorite TV show. She is also taking important steps in her personal growth and processing her trauma through therapy. Soon, she will be paired with a mentor for additional support. To help her achieve her academic goals and provide a creative outlet, Nelle wishes for an iPad. This device would assist her in staying organized with her schoolwork and allow her to engage in positive hobbies during her downtime. Unfortunately, since Nelle is in foster care, her current foster home is unable to purchase the iPad. We want to ensure that this barrier does not hinder Nelle from reaching her many goals!
