Ysabel lost her father when she was 8 years old. Despite her loss, she is still very much her Mom's "sunshine and rainbows" child who finds joy in just about everything and always has a smile and kindness for everyone in her life. Just recently, her pet bunny, Peyton, passed away. Peyton had been with Ysabel's family for 6 wonderful years, and he was very much a source of comfort and peace for her when her father passed away. He lived in their playroom, and she spent hours hanging out with him while she watched TV or did crafts. She taught him tricks, made videos with/of him to share with her friends, and he was her cuddle buddy. His passing has been devastating for the entire family, but especially for her. When she had sad days thinking about her dad, Peyton cheered her up.

Ysabel has asked for a special memorial stuffed animal that looks like her late bunny, Peyton. She finds a lot of comfort in memories, as can be seen by the various pictures, pillows, and sweatshirts of her dad that she has in her room.
