Alexis is a wise young woman who has faced many challenges growing up in the foster system. She has a warm and positive personality that attracts people. Although she doesn't have a strong support system in San Diego, she keeps in touch with a few cousins from her hometown. She's working hard to create a stable life in her new apartment through a housing program. Alexis enjoys expressing her creativity by decorating her home and putting together unique outfits. Her resilience and joyful spirit make her a remarkable person with a bright future.

Alexis is thrilled to be moving into a bigger room—a fresh start that gives her the chance to finally create the space she has always dreamed of. One thing she has longed for since she was a little girl is her own vanity, a special place where she can sit, do her hair and makeup, and feel like a princess. It’s a childhood dream she has held on to for years, and now she finally has the opportunity to make it come true. Having a vanity would mean so much more to Alexis than just a piece of furniture. It would be a space just for her—a place to practice self-care, build confidence, and start her days feeling put together and proud of herself. This vanity would bring her immense happiness and joy, transforming her new room into a haven where she feels comfortable, confident, and truly at home. It would be a meaningful gift that celebrates her growth, her dreams, and the little girl inside her who always imagined this moment.
