Kimberly is an amazing young woman who is filled with positivity and smiles, even though she has been living in foster homes from a young age. Kimberly has experience with eating disorders and has been improving her eating habits overall. Kimberly is strong, brave, social, and loving. Kimberly loves music. She loves to listen to music while doing her house chores. Kimberly is learning to play the drums at the Sunday church. Kimberly is helpful in her current placement as she ensures the rest of her foster siblings are being cared for. Kimberly's interests are drawing, painting, listening to music, and participating in the YMCA Youth government program. Kimberly has a passion for the great outdoors, where she joyfully explores and immerses herself in the outside world. Her creativity flows freely as she engages in expressing herself through music, skateboarding, and dancing. Always full of energy, she enjoys running and staying active, relishing every moment filled with movement.

Kimberly would love a Cricut machine this holiday season because it would give her a creative outlet to express herself and celebrate the positive memories she is now building. Much of Kimberly’s early childhood was shaped by circumstances beyond her control, and because of her involvement with DCFS, she does not have many joyful or stable memories from those years. For the past three years, Kimberly has been living with a loving and supportive foster family. In this safe environment, she has begun to heal, grow, and discover her strengths. She is learning to see beauty in her life and confidence in herself. A Cricut machine would allow Kimberly to create personalized projects such as cards, artwork, décor, and keepsakes, tangible reminders of happy moments, meaningful milestones, and relationships she values. Through crafting, she can tell her story in her own voice, turning creativity into a source of empowerment and joy. This gift would be more than a crafting tool. It would be a way for Kimberly to express her emotions, build confidence, and preserve the positive memories she is creating in this new chapter of her life, one filled with hope, stability, and possibility
