After aging out, she faced significant instability, living in her car and in unsafe environments while navigating adulthood on her own. Her determination led her to Penny Lane Centers and later Jovenes, where she found the support she needed to move toward stability. Currently, she is attending cosmetology school and working in a salon, earning hours toward her license while honing her hairstyling skills. She has a passion for braiding and takes pride in helping her clients feel confident and cared for. Her faith and church community provide her with a strong sense of belonging and support. In her free time, MiAngel enjoys cooking for others, trying new recipes, and dreams of traveling or spending peaceful days at the beach.

MiAngel is requesting a television for her new apartment as she continues to build stability after aging out of foster care. After experiencing homelessness and long periods of uncertainty, having a safe place of her own has been a major milestone in her journey. A television would help transform her apartment into a true home and provide comfort during moments of rest after long days balancing school and work.
