Brooklynn is a kind and independent young lady who is observant and determined. Although she has a small circle of friends, she values those relationships. She enjoys listening to music, shopping, swimming, and being active through sports like soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Brooklynn is good at speaking up for herself and wants the same freedoms that other teens have. Stability and honesty are important to her, and she does best in consistent environments. While she may test boundaries, this is her way of seeking trust. Due to her past experiences, it takes time for her to build trust with adults, but once she feels safe, she opens up and builds strong connections.

Brooklynn is currently in foster care and would love cozy pajamas, comfy sweats, and everyday shirts for Christmas. These are items she can wear at home to feel relaxed and safe, as well as clothes she can feel good wearing day to day. For a child in foster care, having comfortable clothing she can truly call her own brings a sense of security, normalcy, and comfort.
