She was neglected by both of her parents. She was placed with her grandmother at the age of 11 yrs old. She is doing well in school; there have been some struggles, but she works through them. She is participating in basketball and track. She is interested in learning how to play golf. She enjoys arts and crafts. She is in the choir at church and enjoys singing.

Lay is asking for this helmet so she can wear it when she is riding her electric scooter. She is asking for this so she is safe on the busy roads of Portland. She wants this one because it has the goggles, gloves, and face mask. This will help with having to ride the scooter in the different seasons we get here in Oregon.
