Scarlet is a former foster youth in transitional housing. She is working towards her long-term housing goals. Scarlet aspires to become a behavioral health specialist. She has already taken the initiative towards that by her involvement with various foster youth advocacy organizations.

Scarlet has spent much of her life in foster care, often without having things to call her own. For the first time, she now has her own place and wants to make it feel as much like a home as possible. She believes that these curtains would help create a more welcoming atmosphere.
