Kyle entered foster care when he was ten years old and moved between different homes often, never staying in one place long enough to feel at home. This constant change made him feel like he didn’t belong anywhere and always made him feel like the “new kid.” Instead of letting this instability get to him, Kyle found comfort in school. He loved reading, studying, and doing well in class, which became a safe outlet for him. Over time, this interest grew into a passion for medicine. Now in college, he has dreams of becoming a doctor.

Kyle is asking for gas assistance over the holiday break to help cover the cost of all the travel that comes with the season—getting to family gatherings, holiday events, and making sure he can be where he needs to be without added stress. With gas prices and extra driving adding up quickly this time of year, even a little support would go a long way in helping him travel safely, stay connected to loved ones, and get through the holidays with one less worry on his plate.
