Nate loves all types of sports. He has several siblings, but they are all currently placed in separate homes. His current caregiver is great, and she helps facilitate visitation between the siblings as often as possible. Nate lost his father a couple years ago and his mother has not been present in his life for many years. He is a resilient child who enjoys video games, spending time with his friends, and eating candy. Nate can be quiet and reserved until he is comfortable with the person he has just met. He likes to talk about things going on in his life, as long as it is not something he got in trouble doing i.e. eating a whole plate of brownies. He has two dogs and a cat that he cares for with his caregiver.

Nate recently moved to a new apartment with his guardian, which is further away from his school due to the poor conditions of the building where they were living. He wishes to remain at the same school and is hoping to get an e-scooter to help him get to school quickly. He is currently going to try to use public transportation, but would "like to be on his own schedule," so he can be on time for school but not have to wake up too early.
