Nate loves all types of sports. He has several siblings, but they are all currently placed in separate homes. His current caregiver is great, and she helps facilitate visitation between the siblings as often as possible. Nate lost his father a couple years ago and his mother has not been present in his life for many years. He is a resilient child who enjoys video games, spending time with his friends, and eating candy. Nate can be quiet and reserved until he is comfortable with the person he has just met. He likes to talk about things going on in his life, as long as it is not something he got in trouble doing i.e. eating a whole plate of brownies. He has two dogs and a cat that he cares for with his caregiver.

Nate is a sixth grader and is struggling in all areas of school. He needs a computer at home so he can access different learning sites to help him catch up in school. He is a well-liked student, and the teachers have provided him with websites to learn in fun ways. In addition, Nate could use the laptop to remain in contact with his siblings, who are placed in separate homes, as he recently broke his cellular phone.
