Kitchen island stool for Addison who loves cooking for others

Addison, 21 years old, OR

The Lost & Found Institute

Addison is a determined young woman living in a college dorm while pursuing her degree in public policy. Growing up in foster homes, she never had the stable family life that many of her peers did. Instead of letting her past hold her back, she uses it as motivation to make a difference for others facing similar challenges. Alongside her studies, Addison is working to reconnect with her biological family and siblings. This journey is not always easy, but she’s taking small steps toward healing those relationships. Despite the difficulties, she demonstrates a quiet strength. Addison balances her education with her personal growth, focusing on rediscovery and change.

Addison is requesting a set of stools for her kitchen to enhance both comfort and social connection in her home. With these stools, she would be able to sit at the island while cooking, making it easier to engage with guests, friends, and family without having to move back and forth between spaces. This small addition would create a cozy gathering spot where people can share conversations, prepare meals together, or simply enjoy each other’s company. Since the kitchen is already a central area in her home, having seating at the island would help transform it into an even more welcoming and functional environment where memories can be made. This wish will help provide one of the last two stools needed to complete her set of four.
