Even with these challenges, Steven’s heart is one of his strongest qualities. He cares deeply for his sister and half-sister, whom he is separated from. Steven also has a deep love for his family members who live in another country, including his mother and brother. Family means everything to him. Steven continues to show strength as he works through his healing journey, and he deserves support, understanding, and opportunities that help him keep moving forward.

Steven finds comfort and joy in soccer during an incredibly difficult time in his life. Some of his most meaningful memories are playing soccer and watching matches with his father, who was recently detained by ICE. Soccer has always been something they shared, a powerful connection that brought them close. This jersey is more than just a favorite team. It represents love, memories, and a way for Steven to keep his father close to his heart, especially during the holidays.
