Miguel lived with his uncle because his parents were struggling, and it wasn’t safe for him to be with them. His uncle worked hard to give Miguel a stable home, but as Miguel grew older, he ended up in foster care as a teenager. This was a difficult change, and adjusting to a new home was hard for him. During this tough time, he found comfort in nature. Camping became his way to escape and relax. Miguel has two younger siblings still in foster care, and he hopes they can be reunited with their uncle soon. He stays in touch with them to show they’re not alone, and he is determined to support them, just like he wished he had support when he first entered foster care.

Miguel is looking for a blue rug for his living room to help transform the space into a more homey, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated environment. A rug would add warmth, color, and softness to the room, helping to tie the furniture together and make the living area feel more welcoming and complete. Creating a cozy and well-put-together space would allow Miguel to relax, host guests, and enjoy his home more fully.
