Faith is the oldest of two siblings and has naturally taken on a strong sense of responsibility within her family, often helping care for and guide her younger toddler sister. She is thoughtful and dependable, frequently reminding those around her of important responsibilities. While Faith has faced mental health challenges, she has shown incredible growth by coming out of her shell and finding her voice. She is now seen as a leader among her peers and recently demonstrated her confidence and courage by running for Youth of the Year. Faith’s resilience, maturity, and leadership continue to shine as she grows. She's receiving services from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Mercer County.

Faith would greatly benefit from getting knotless braids. She wants to learn how to care for and style her 3C hair, as she struggles to manage it without proper guidance or resources. Unfortunately, her parents cannot afford professional hair care, so this opportunity would allow Faith to learn how to maintain and style her hair independently. Acquiring these skills would help her build confidence, independence, and a deeper appreciation for her natural curls, culture, and identity. This wish is particularly meaningful as she continues to grow in self-expression and self-esteem.
