Melenia has been in and out of foster care since she was 7 years old, experiencing multiple placements throughout her childhood and adolescence. These frequent transitions disrupted her sense of safety, stability, and belonging, and made it difficult for her to form consistent and trusting relationships with caregivers. Despite these challenges, she has continued to demonstrate resilience and the ability to adapt to new environments and has recently gotten good grades from school with the help of tutoring from the Agency, and is trying her best.

Melenia would like to create a cozy area in her home where she can relax, read, and study. She envisions a space filled with soft lighting and calming decor. One of her must-have items is a cute pink oversized bean bag chair, perfect for sinking into with a good book. This chair would not only add a pop of color but also provide comfort for long hours of reading. With this setup, she can enjoy her peaceful moments and focus on her studies effectively.
