Krystalyn has spent much of her life searching for where she truly belongs, but once she began pursuing higher education, she found her calling. She committed herself not only to earning her baccalaureate degree but also to pursuing graduate study. Krystalyn has successfully earned her bachelor’s degree and completed her master’s program. She is also on track to become the first student from her college’s foster youth support program to earn a doctoral degree, remaining true to her goal of helping change the narrative surrounding foster youth and higher education. Beyond her academic achievements, Krystalyn is a passionate advocate for animals and actively volunteers. In her free time, she enjoys reading, making bracelets, working with beads, planting, and cooking.

Krystalyn is in need of assistance with groceries due to food insecurity and limited financial resources. As a graduate student juggling academic responsibilities and living expenses, her current funds are insufficient to meet her basic nutritional needs during this time.
