Ariel is a youth who goes to school, puts in the work, and cares about her grades. She takes pride in doing her best. Her home life presents challenges that most young people never have to face. Despite these obstacles, she remains focused and continues to improve and move forward. A wish for Ariel means more than a moment of joy. It will provide her with a sense that her hard work matters and that someone notices her efforts.

Ariel is very proud of participating in her school's track team. She lights up when she talks about it. She shows up to participate ready to work, pushes herself through tough workouts, and stays committed to her teammates.
