Jo Jo is a great young man who lives with his parents. They moved here from Jamaica and are struggling to make ends meet. Jo Jo faces challenges because he has autism and other disabilities. He finds reading and math tough but is working hard to learn important everyday skills. Right now, he's trying to master things like cleaning, getting dressed, and taking care of himself. He is also learning how to shop by himself, cross streets safely, and pick the right clothes for different weather. His behavior therapist says he is sweet, loving, and very determined to do his best. Jo Jo loves Disney, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and enjoys watching "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" on YouTube. Despite the challenges he faces, his story shows hope and strength as he works to grow and thrive in life.

As an autistic child, JoJo faces unique challenges in managing daily living skills, and having a structured routine is essential for his development and independence. During therapy, it was recommended that these tools be purchased to further support his growth. Unfortunately, his family is currently facing financial hardships. They are low-income and struggling to cover essential needs such as rent and utilities. This makes it difficult to afford additional resources that could greatly benefit JoJo. The chore chart would not only help him stay organized but also empower him to take ownership of his responsibilities at home. Coupled with an engaging activity kit, this would encourage him to practice vital life skills in a fun and supportive manner.
