Generation Hope - DCKaylee is an awesome kid who loves to make bracelets, loves reading, and loves animals. She is the child of a former teen mom. She's been through a lot in her life - her parents divorced a few years ago and her mom experienced domestic violence with a new partner, and they have had to move around a lot. She's had to change schools numerous times in elementary school. Despite it all, Kaylee is doing well in school and is a great big sister.
Kaylee's family is moving into a new home, and her mom, who is expecting a new baby, is trying to support five people on a public school teacher's salary, which makes finances very tight. Right now, Kaylee and her brother are sleeping on mattresses on the floor. A bedframe would make their sleeping arrangements feel more like home.
